This is a Simplex kettle. Purchased about 35 years ago. The bottom is in poor condition. There are scratches, dents, and dirt. We hope someone can use it for interior decoration or repair it.
Simplex is a British brand founded in 1903. They are the manufacturer that obtained the patent for the world's first kettle with a whistle function on the lid. The manufacturing process, using high-quality copper as raw material during the Edwardian era when tea was frequently enjoyed, with each piece carefully handcrafted by artisans in their home country, is still carried on today.
