Vintage Russian Khokhloma Mini Wood Bowl Salt Cellar Folk Art

Petite vintage wooden bowl featuring the distinctive black, gold, red and green floral decoration associated with Russian Khokhloma folk art. At approximately 3 diameter x 2 high, this charming little piece may have been used as a salt cellar, or solonka, and would also make a lovely trinket bowl, ring dish or display piece. The bowl is turned wood with a glossy lacquered finish and hand-painted-style floral decoration. No maker or country mark is visible. Its exact age is unknown; Soviet-era origins are possible but have not been verified. Good vintage condition with light surface and finish wear consistent with age and use. No chips, cracks or significant damage noted. Please review all photos for condition and details.
